From the pump all the way to the spray gun, your fluid dispense material is exposed to constant plant temperature changes. Our system, which precisely controls temperature at the material’s point of application, shrinks the impact of those changes. No matter what, you can expect consistency within +/-1°F at the point of application.
Results like these were unheard of in the fluid dispensing field until our technology came along. And we’re still the only ones who can do it.
Temperature Control Units
Temperature change is happening in and around your fluid dispensing process. Unless controlled at the point the material is finally dispensed, ambient temperature change is creating variations in viscosity that impact the consistency and quality of your throughput. Saint Clair Systems temperature control units seamlessly provide the required heating and cooling to achieve and maintain a +/-1°F material temperature at the point of application.
Our temperature control units are totally self-contained systems. Expandable by controller to communicate to any line configuration, our proprietary thermal sizing tools ensure that the capacity of your temperature control unit is just right.
We remove the pressure of trying to maintain viscosity across the entirety of your fluid dispensing process. Don’t waste time and resources trying to control temperature at the pump. Our easy-to-adopt technology improves consistency, first pass yield, throughput quality, and overall profitability.
Case Study:
Process Temperature Control
A potential customer in the coil coating industry was satisfied with the processes they already had in place and didn’t think temperature control could benefit their operation. Like many, they didn’t understand the impacts of temperature change in their fluid dispense process and the effects it was having on viscosity and throughput.
(Plus, some of their key personnel had a lot invested in the way things were currently running.)
Using our proprietary software, we gave them a free analysis. Our technology quickly identified that differences in paint temperature were causing them to apply excess coating. Our proposed solution from that single analysis saved them over $500,000 in coating and solvent usage.
We’re experts with over 30 years of experience in controlling temperature in fluid dispense systems. We’ve made our systems convenient and easy to adopt – but you need to see results for yourself to appreciate them.
Water-Based Temperature Control System
Simple, balanced and efficient, these self-contained, closed-loop systems require neither additional plumbing nor an external water source.
AT-5900
For more than 30 years, Saint Clair Systems has created solutions for many types of applications in many different industries. The compact, efficient, and economical AT-5900 is used in a variety of applications and offers an easy-to-use upgrade to many dispensing systems.
Thermoelectric Temperature Control System
For systems that do not see significant swings in ambient temperature, but benefit from accurate temperature control, our thermoelectric systems offer an efficient and affordable option.
The device contains a Peltier chip. When an electric current runs through the chip, one side gets hot and the other side gets cold. Reversing the current makes the hot side cold, and the cold side hot. Simple.
Multi-Station Recirculation Systems
When dispensing applications contain a large variety of options (as in a multi-color paint system), our solutions provide temperature control for each circuit. This unit is capable of controlling up to three unique circuits.
Anti-Condensation System
Different from a traditional air heater, these units recirculate heated water to a heat exchanger mounted close to the source of the icing or condensation.
Traditional air heaters use air to transfer heat from outside of the booth to the bell. As air is a poor medium for heat transfer, these traditional air heaters are largely ineffective.
The benefits of these systems include:
