Why Direct In-Line?

Most 'In-Line' sensors require a 'Bypass' installation, because they use ink flow to operate.

This concept has three main problems.

Problem 1: Due to the diversion of ink flow, into the sidestream and resultant pressure changes in doctor blade chamber, there may be changes in ink transfer.

Problem 2: This bypass system also requires special activation of it's operation valves for cleaning.

Problem 3: This system requires more piping and connections.

The M50 solves these problems:

Solution1: No impact on ink pressure at any time.

Solution 2: The In-Line M50 is cleaned with the same solvent flushing used for cleaning doctor blade chambers.

Solution 3: The M50 mounts directly in the ink line to the fountain.
